DIVERSE & GLOBAL EXPERIENCE - As a camp counselor, you will get to work with children and staff from a variety of places, cultures and backgrounds. COLLEGE CREDIT OR INTERNSHIP - That's right!! At Camp Timberline you may be eligible for college credit in some cases and/or be able to use camp as an independent study, practicum, or internship experience.

PUBLIC SPEAKING EXPERIENCE - As a counselor, you are responsible for leading activities, giving instructions, making announcements to groups of children, and speaking with parents at the beginning and end of camp sessions. This experience allows you to grow in confidence and comfort with speaking in front of both large and small audiences in various settings.
